Hi! Well, today concludes my series of photos from Horton's Christmas open house! Thank you to everyone for stopping by and viewing all of my pictures, it's been a lot of fun to show you this neat little store tucked away in Tipton, Indiana. I am officially in the Christmas mood!!
that chippy little vintage step ladder came home with me :)
not only does Donna use many vintage items woven into her beautiful displays, but she enlists the help of artists to make handmade items that fit her theme...it's touches like that that really add interest to this wonderful store!
I love Donna's use of regular hardware store house numbers to decorate with, I might just have to try that one...
Thank you to the Horton family for letting me be a part of this fabulous event...and thank you also for the very best peppermint fudge I have EVER had!!! {yes they make their own fudge in this hardware store}
Have a wonderful weekend my friends! My oldest daughter turns 9 on Monday so we are having her "kids" party and her family party this weekend, so it'll be a busy weekend for me!!

Thanks so much for posting the lovely pictures! I live about 2 hours away & wasn't able to attend the Open House. I was at the store once & it definitely was worth the trip!
As much as I loved the red theme yesterday, my favourite would be these tones...linen/burlap/old timber-colours, lots of black accents...just gorgeous. If I'm ever in Indiana at christmas.....

HI Tracey... As I am finished with most decorating I found a couple little pieces of inspiration to create with some existing objects in my home... One of them being the little shaker with the glitter with the tag saying " The Sparkle Of Christmas"... I have a shaker sitting in my kitchen window that soon will have some glitter and a tag... Thankss for sharing these lovely pics.....
I would not know where to begin to shop....I see so many lovely things I want to bring home.
Oh how I wish I could just wiggle my nose and magically appear in that shop...HEAVEN! xoxoxo

Several things come to mind...sensory overload, more eye candy than I've ever seen in one place, and $250,000 underfunded to go there.
Wow, Thanks for sharing!
I want to climb inside and grab at least an arm full to bring home & start decorating here. Your photos are beautiful, Tracey. Peppermint fudge sounds so good!

You got out of there with just that adorable little step ladder??? You did a whole lot better than I would'ave, Tracey! lol! I do believe that that store is soooo worthy of a nice drive from southern Michigan. I'm going to have to Google it and find out how long of a drive it is for me, grab some friends, and plan a road trip!! :) Awesome photography, too, girl! Just beautiful!
xoxo laurie

This hardware store is fantastic! I think more hardware stores should do this. Thanks for sharing, but I'm sure you enjoyed the trip!
I enjoyed every, I mean every photo. It's the kind of store where you must circle, and circle again and again to see and appreciate it all. Ahh holiday decorating mood- I feel it all over now. Thank you so much.
Hi Tracey! I've so
enjoyed your gorgeous
pics of the Horton's
Christmas sale. When
we used to live in
LaGrange, IL, there
was a fabulous Hardware/
Home store there called
Horton's. I wonder if
it is the same family?
My beautiful pine hall
tree was purchased there,
and I used to troll the
aisles and dream!
xx Suzanne
